Pro Profile: what it is, and what it does not buy

Pro Profile is a reviewed block in your own words at the top of one product page, labelled as yours. It changes no fact and no rank, and it is sold per product.

A labelled block above the facts

Pro Profile is a paid block at the top of a product page on infratoapp, written and published by the vendor, with no review step, and labelled as the vendor’s own words. It holds a banner, up to three screenshots, a demo link and up to two buttons, around the description the vendor writes for the listing. Staff can take a profile down, with a reason the vendor sees. It does not change the facts below it, and it does not move the product in any list. It is bought per product, monthly or annually, at the prices on the pricing page.

It needs a claimed listing first, because a plan belongs to an organisation and an organisation is proved by its domain. The Pro Profile page lists every line it may contain.

It is one of three paid products, each doing a separate job. The vendor guide names them persuade, measure and be seen; Pro Profile is the persuading one, and the only one that puts your own words on the product page.

The problem it is meant to solve

A listing is written by us from public sources. It is accurate where we could find the facts and dry everywhere, because the table has to read the same for every vendor. A buyer comparing a handful of options sees rows of attributes and nothing about why each product exists or who it is for.

You cannot pitch inside that table and the rules say you should not be able to. The profile gives the pitch its own space, visibly separate, so that the table stays neutral and the reader can tell which words are ours and which are yours.

The profile does not change any field in the listing, so it changes nothing a filter or a comparison table shows. A buyer who sees you only inside a comparison, without opening the product page, will not see it at all.

What you can put in it, exactly

A headline of up to 80 characters and a description of 20 to 600 characters, both in plain text. One demo link. Up to two calls to action, each with its own label. Screenshots with descriptions are listed as coming, which means they are not part of what is sold today.

Every link must point to a domain you have verified as yours. You cannot send readers to a partner, a reseller or a campaign domain you do not control. Links out open in a new tab and are marked nofollow, which tells search engines we do not vouch for the destination.

Write it as you would for a buyer who has already seen your prices. The block sits above a table that shows them, so repeating a rate wastes the space and, if your price changes, leaves your own words disagreeing with the figure underneath.

Review, and what a person checks

The order is: email us from the button, receive an invoice, and once it is marked paid the plan switches on for that product. You write the profile on the product’s Profile tab in your vendor portal, save a draft and submit it. A person approves it or sends it back with a reason.

No review time for profiles is published yet, so do not plan a launch around a date. Edits after approval go through the same review, but the approved version stays live while the new one is read, so editing never takes the block down.

The label reads as from the vendor, in its own words, approved by us. Approval means the block meets the rules, not that we endorse the claims in it.

Each product is bought separately, so a vendor with several products can put a profile on one first and leave the rest as they are.

What it does not buy

It does not move the product up any list in any layer, category or GPU table. The query that orders a public list does not join the billing table, and the audit that shows it is published on the method page.

It does not edit a fact. Prices, benchmarks and open-source figures are not yours to change in the profile; a wrong one is a dispute and a stale field is a change request. A profile that contradicts the facts below it sits directly above the evidence against it.

It does not carry over to other products. One profile per product, bought for each product you want it on. When the plan ends, the block stops showing and we keep your text so it can return if you renew; the listing and everything free on it stays. The pricing page has the monthly and annual figures.

It does not buy a badge, a score or a verified mark. The label on the block says whose words they are, which is close to the opposite of an endorsement, and the facts underneath keep their own sources and read dates.

Writing a profile that passes review and gets read

Write for the reader who is already on the page. They have your prices, your category and the facts below the block. The profile answers what those cannot: why the product exists, who it fits and what to do next. A headline that restates the category wastes its 80 characters.

Keep every claim checkable or leave it out. The block sits above a table of sourced facts and a reader will hold the two against each other. A sentence a buyer can confirm on your documentation does more there than an adjective nobody can test.

Make each call to action say exactly what happens when it is pressed. A button labelled as a demo that opens a newsletter form is the kind of mismatch a reader notices, and it colours how they read everything else in the block.

What we could not answer

  • ⚑No review time for profiles is published, so this post cannot say how long approval takes.
  • ⚑We hold no data on whether a profile changes what buyers do, and this post makes no claim that it does.

Questions people ask about this

What is Pro Profile on infratoapp?

A paid block at the top of one product page, written and published by the vendor with no review step, and labelled as the vendor’s own words. It holds a banner, up to three screenshots, a demo link and up to two buttons, and it changes no fact or ranking.

Does Pro Profile improve where my product ranks?

No. Pro Profile sits above the facts on the product page and has no effect on any list, category or price table. The query that orders public lists does not read billing data, and the audit that shows this is published on the site.

What happens to my Pro Profile if I stop paying?

The block stops showing on the product page, and the text is kept so it can return if the plan is renewed. The listing itself, and everything that comes free with a claimed listing, stays as it was before the plan started.

How buying works here: an invoice from a person

There is no checkout and no card on file. You email, a person creates an order and sends an invoice, and the plan switches on when the invoice is marked paid.

Claim your listing on infratoapp: what happens, in order

You prove you control your company domain with a work email, you get a workspace as its admin, and you can then edit some fields and request changes to others.

What infratoapp reads from your pricing page, and how often

A crawler reads your own pricing page on a schedule, keeps the sentence each rate came from with its URL and date, and hides any price older than 21 days.
