What we sell, what it costs, and what it does not buy

Listing is free and always will be, because a directory that charges for inclusion is a directory of whoever paid. Learning is free too. Everything priced below sits on top of a listing that already exists, or on top of free learning. New to this? Start with the vendor guide.

Plans

Pick a product on the left to see its plans. Vendors first, then the Academy. Each vendor product has a page that says what it is for.
The switch applies to every product that is sold both ways.

Profile

Claim it free, correct the facts and write your description, then add a banner, screenshots and buttons with Pro Profile.

Listing is free and always will be. Claiming it proves the page is yours.

Claim your organisation
  • A page with your prices, dependencies and open-source figures, read weekly
  • Edit the tagline, description and logo; answer the questions we ask of your category, with a source
  • Ask to change a field that decides where we read facts from or where a product ranks: we review it
  • File a dispute against any value we hold, with evidence
  • Thirty-day totals of views, comparisons, outbound clicks and opt-ins, and how they changed
  • Seats and roles for your team
Monthly
$49
per month, per product

For one product. Cancel when you like.

Talk to us
  • A block at the top of the product page, around the description you write for your listing: a banner, up to three screenshots, a demo link and up to two buttons
  • You publish it yourself, at once, and it is labelled as the vendor’s own
  • Links only to domains you have verified, each opening in a new tab and marked nofollow
  • Edit any time: the published version stays live until you publish the next, and every version is kept so you can go back
  • Every picture is cropped to one size, so a gallery always lines up
  • Results for the last 30 days, seen only by you: how many people looked at your profile and followed each button, with the change against the 30 days before

What every vendor gets, free

Claim your organisation by proving you control its domain, and you get a workspace. These are its screens, as they are in the product today.

What you have, until when, invoices

Buyer intent is partly free: the thirty-day totals of views, comparisons, outbound clicks and opt-ins, and how they changed against the thirty days before, are on every claimed organisation. The Intelligence plan adds the trends, where clicks came from, who buyers compare you with, and the named leads list.

Changes to a field that decides where we read facts from, or where a product ranks, are requests: you ask, we review within two working days, and the History tab keeps the record. Everything else you edit directly.

How buying works

  1. 1Tell us which planEmail us from the button on the plan. There is no checkout and no card on file.
  2. 2We create the orderAt the price printed on this page, for the layer, product or organisation the plan covers.
  3. 3You get an invoiceSent by a person, not generated by a checkout.
  4. 4We mark it paidThe plan switches on for your organisation. Nothing switches on before that.
  5. 5You see it in your portalPlans & billing shows what you hold, until when, and your invoices. Organisation admins only.

This is how vendors buy. There is no checkout, no card on file and no self-serve upgrade: every plan is an invoice handled by a person.

What you can and cannot see about readers

  • Counts, not people. We do not record individual reader journeys, so there is no trail to show you.
  • A count under 5 is withheld rather than shown, so a small number can never point at one person.
  • A name and email reach you only when a reader chose to share them with you for a specific product, under wording that says exactly that. They can stop at any time and drop off your list at once.
  • We cannot take back a copy of the list that you have already downloaded. Treat it as the reader’s email, not ours.

What no amount of money changes

Every row here is a write that does not exist for any vendor role, on any plan. They are struck through because it is a better answer than an empty cell.

PAID PLACEMENT IS LABELLED AND RANKING-NEUTRAL · THE QUERY THAT ORDERS A PUBLIC LIST DOES NOT JOIN THE BILLING TABLE, AND WE PUBLISH THE AUDIT THAT PROVES IT

Questions vendors ask

Does paying change where my product ranks?
No. The query that orders a public list does not join the billing table, and we publish the audit that proves it. Paid placement is a labelled card outside the ranked list.
Can I pay by card?
No. Paying is an invoice, handled by a person.
Do I have to claim my listing?
No. Your listing is here whether you claim it or not. Claiming is free, and every paid product needs a claimed organisation, because a plan belongs to an organisation.
Can a Featured card go on any layer?
Only on a layer your product is listed in. If you want a layer you are not in, the route is to change your product’s layers first: you ask, and we review it.
What happens if I stop paying?
The plan ends and what it switched on stops: a Featured card stops showing, a Pro Profile stops showing, the named leads list goes back to a count. Your listing, and everything free on it, stays.
Who on my team can see plans and invoices?
Organisation admins. Editors and analysts do not.

Where the rules are written
