InfratoApp / Dispute a value

Tell us a number is wrong

Show us the page that says otherwise and we will re-read it. You do not need an account, and you do not need to work at the company — a reader who spotted it is exactly who this is for.

File the dispute

We fetch this when you submit, so it has to resolve.

Upheld disputes are published on the corrections log.

What happens next

  1. 1. We fetch your source when you submit, so a dead link never reaches review.
  2. 2. A human compares your quoted sentence against the page — a click, not a judgement.
  3. 3. If we were wrong, the value changes and the correction is published with what it was, what it became, and why.
  4. 4. If the published value stands, we say so. That is a result, not a refusal.

The old value is not deleted

Nothing here is hard-deleted. A superseded reading is marked as such and stays legible, because somebody who cited the old figure needs to be able to find out what happened to it.

Answering an empty question?

Different job — that one ends in a value being added rather than replaced. Use contribute instead.

Where corrections end up

Every correction we publish is listed on corrections. How figures are gathered is on methodology.
