Every outbound link, and what we earn on it
Four ways a link leaves this site. Three of them pay us nothing. The one that does is marked at the point of the click — not in a footer somebody has to go looking for.
How a link leaves this site
Marked inline, every time, with the word visible before the click rather than after it. The reader decides with the fact in hand.
halide.cloud/?ref=infratoapp&utm_source=infratoapp…
The page a number was read from. It must stay clean — a tracked evidence link would make the proof look like an advert.
halide.cloud/pricing
Docs, repositories, status pages. No parameters at all, because there is nothing to attribute and no reason to touch the URL.
docs.halide.cloud/inference
Already paid for, up front. Tagged so the sponsor can see their own traffic, and labelled ochre — never red, which would read as verified.
orbital.example/?utm_source=infratoapp&utm_medium=sponsor…
5 slots, and what each one may never do
Unsold, a slot collapses to zero height and leaves no gap. There is no house ad and no “advertise here” filler — a slot that always shows something teaches a reader to skip that region, which is precisely what a sponsor is paying for it not to be.
What the UTM carries, in full
Printed here because a vendor reading their own analytics deserves to know exactly what we attach, and a reader deserves to know it identifies a page, never a person.

No click id, no visitor id, no hashed email. The vendor learns which page sent the click, not who clicked. We count clicks per surface per day; still no click id, no visitor id.
The line that matters
4 LINK KINDS · 1 PAYS US · AND THE SAME SENTENCE APPEARS IN THE FOOTER OF EVERY PAGE, NOT ONLY THIS ONE
Where the rest is written
What a placement costs is on pricing, and how figures are gathered is on methodology.
