Featured puts one card, clearly marked as sponsored, at the top of a layer page. It does not move you up any list, and it does not pretend to. Pay-as-you-go is planned and is not for sale yet.

The problem, and what changes
Ranking is not for sale, so where do you pay to be seen?
A directory that sells position becomes a directory of whoever paid. Ours does not sell position: the ranked lists are the same for everyone. That leaves vendors with no honest place to buy attention, and buyers with no way to tell advertising from the facts.
One clearly marked card, outside the list
Featured is a card in its own strip at the top of one layer page, with a permanent disclosure beside it. One sponsor is visible at a time; unsold, the slot collapses to nothing. It sits outside the ranked list, so it can never be mistaken for a result.

How it works
- 1Claim your organisationFree. You prove you control your domain, and you get a workspace. A plan belongs to an organisation, so this comes first.
- 2Choose a layer your product is listed inFeatured is bought per layer. If you want a layer you are not in, change your product’s layers first: you ask, we review.
- 3We invoice you and mark it paidThe plan switches on for that layer. Nothing switches on before.
- 4We set the card up and make it liveYou supply a headline, a few bullets and a link. It is reviewed before it shows.
- 5Watch it in your portalImpressions, clicks and click-through under Buyer intent, for the card.
Buying is the same for every plan: tell us which plan, then we create the order, then you get an invoice, then we mark it paid, then you see it in your portal.

Questions vendors ask
- Why a flat price and not pay per click?
- A flat slot is simple to audit: one sponsor, one price, no bidding. Pay-as-you-go is planned, and will not open until it can be protected against fake clicks.
- Can I buy a layer I am not in?
- No. A Featured card only sits on a layer your product is listed in.
- Will it change my rank?
- No. It sits outside the ranked list, and the query that orders a list does not join the billing table.
- I want pay-as-you-go. What do I do?
